Paws Drawing As part of our PBIS practice, we have a weekly PAWS drawing. Students earn PAWS by making great choices for being Respectful, Responsible, and Safe. Students can earn PAWS throughout the building. All staff members are looking for Wildcats who are demonstrating excellent behavior. | Congratulations to our August Students of the Month! Family Resource CenterThe Family Resource Center is for YOU! It is full of learning resources that you can use at home to reinforce learning in Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies. These tools are intended to be interactive, fun, and many are good for the whole family to enjoy together! Checking them out is FREE. If you aren't sure where to start, check in with your child's teacher to find out what areas your child might need to practice (or even preview upcoming skills!) Then, call or drop-in during the hours of 8 - 2 and visit with Ms. Middlebrook. | UNIFORMSStudents should wear uniforms Monday - Thursday each week. Click here for more details. Student choice of appropriate clothing is allowed each Friday. | August Attendance!From August - April, monthly attendance prizes will be given to all students who have perfect attendance within the month! To be eligible for monthly prizes, students will have no tardy check-ins or early check-outs within the month. A different prize will be issued each month. Students who were enrolled at Hickory Flat by 8/8/2022 and remain at Hickory Flat for the duration of the school year are eligible to earn a FREE BIKE! All students with perfect attendance (0 missed days of school and no more than 3 tardies or early-checkouts for the entire year) will ride away from Awards Day with a new bicycle! |
