Review all of the information included below for Back-to-School.
Scholars, we want you to know we are extremely proud of the commitment you have made to accelerate your learning, to dig deep, monitor your progress and work hard every day to reach your goal. We admire your Grit and Growth Mindset!
The CCA Staff and I truly have the honor of working with you and your families. We are thrilled that our scholars have accepted this difficult challenge. And, we promise to help each of you learn the skills and subject matter necessary to be successful in High School, Tarrant County College, and wherever your road leads you beyond our school.
Again, we are so excited to get back to learning!

Transportation
Bus:
- Find bus route and schedule information to your home campus at this link. Enter your address and grade level, do not select program, since CCA students ride shuttles from the home campus. Shuttles will have a Card in the window with CTE or CTE/CCA.
- At the home campus, get on the CTE shuttle and notify the bus driver that you are a CCA student. Bus locations at the home campus include the following. Bus routes and CTE shuttles are in the same location on each campus. If there is not a CTE/CCA shuttle at the campus, go to the Main office and let them know you need a bus to take you to CCA.
- CHS: East side of the building (CCA shuttles up front near the yellow pole)
- NCHS: South side of the building by the Gym
- Crowley 9th: by the gym
- North 9th: in front of the building
- The CTE shuttle drops off CTE students first, then drives around to the CCA drop-off. We reverse this process in the afternoon.
- At the end of our school day, shuttle students will be released from class upon arrival of the home campus shuttle beginning around 4:05 pm. We will release enough students to fill each shuttle. Please be patient during the first few weeks as Transportation works out appropriate routes and times. Transportation will ensure all students return to the home campus or their neighborhood regardless of delays.
Parent Drop-off/Pick-up:
- You may drop-off at the home campus, then catch a CTE shuttle there (see Bus section above). Parent drop-off at the home campus may be in a different location from the Bus area.
- Or you may drop-off at CCA following the CCA drive through our parking lot to the Drop-off location near the Student Entrance at the back awning. Please enter our campus from the south, from Longhorn Trail, since we will have a large number of busses entering from Crowley Rd. See the Student Drop-off Path attached.
Student Drivers:
- CTE parking permit is required to park in the CCA Student Parking lot. Parking permits may be purchased from the CCA or CTE office. Cost: $40.00 per year.
- Bring a copy of your driver's license and current insurance along with completed packet. Parking packets may be picked up from the CCA or CTE office..
Breakfast & Lunch Form
All Families should complete the form as this information could provide not only meal support, but also scholarship & college application fee support.
School Supplies
Every scholar needs there device (Chromebook or Laptop) every day - Including the first day of school, August 10.
For scholars new to CISD who do not have a device, please work with your instructors on access to assignments. CISD will check out a device as soon as possible, however, this may not take place the first day of school.
Supplies:
Each instructor will provide you information regarding any supplies beyond pencils, pens, paper on the first day of class.
College Textbooks:
College classes will either use a physical textbook, an online textbook, or an access code for e-book and assignments. CISD covers the cost of these books and access codes, however, replacements for lost books/codes will be the responsibility of the student. Physical textbooks will be checked out and access codes will be provided as the college class begins.
