Letter from the Principal

Nashua students and families,

It has been my pleasure and privilege to serve as Nashua's principal for the last two years. Nashua Elementary is an incredibly special place to be, both as a child and as an adult. The way that our entire community works to do whatever is best for students, from teachers giving interventions in the classroom to PTA asking questions about how they can help, to parents doing whatever it takes to attend conferences or other school functions, it's clear we are all in it for our students. I hope that I have touched your child's heart just 1/100th of how much they have touched mine. Thank you for making Nashua exactly what it is, and please know that being a part of Nashua has been a life-changing experience; I will always consider myself a Star.

Reminders about Car Rider Drop-off (Repeated)

  • Please ensure that your students are prepared to get out of the vehicle before you pull up to stop (ready to get out with backpacks, water bottles, etc.)
  • If your child is reluctant to exit the vehicle, or if they are unprepared to exit the vehicle for any reason, please pull forward and to the left side while you resolve the issue, so that the line can continue to progress
  • For safety reasons, students should exit the car on the passenger side.
  • To avoid your child receiving a tardy and impacting their attendance, please attempt to complete drop-off before 9:12

Picking Students Up Late (Repeated)

If your child did not get picked up on time from the car rider line and they are waiting in the office, please pull into the bus loop, park your car, and come inside to sign your child out in the office. Thank you!
