PARENT POST IS A SHORT NEWSLETTER SENT BETWEEN MONTHLY NEWSLETTERS -
a Parent Post is usually dedicated to one upcoming event, or subject of importance.

SENIOR CHECK OUT
- They should have picked up their check out sheet from the MAIN OFFICE. (Check out process is done in each class during the day.)
- Each teacher will sign their check out sheet.
- Students will also need to visit the LIBRARY and FRONT OFFICE to check for fines/obligations and lunch balance.
- All obligations (including textbooks, fines, lunch balance owed, *sporting equipment, Chromebooks, library books/fines, etc.) MUST BE TAKEN CARE OF in order to receive a diploma.
- Payment for lunch, fees, and Library cannot be combined in one check - they are all separate accounts.
* Students still competing will receive their diploma once the season has ended and equipment is turned in.
LUNCH MONEY
If there is a negative balance, please make sure to pay that separate from Fines & Fees.
If there is a positive balance, a check will be sent home after school is out, or money will be transferred to a younger sibling in the district.
(Anything under a couple dollars will be asked to be donated to students in need if there are no younger siblings.)
GRADUATION INFO
KEY POINTS:
1. Appropriate attire should be worn under the cap and gown. The cap and gown should
not be altered in any manner. The wearing of blue jeans, sports shorts, and athletic
shoes are strongly discouraged.
2. On May 21, Graduates should arrive no later than 1:15 PM and report to the staging
area.
3. This year’s senior breakfast will all be held at Platte County High School in the South Gym. On Friday, May 19, 2017, graduates should arrive at Platte County High School no later than 8:00 a.m. The new parking lot behind the South Annex (Paxton) will be reserved for graduate parking. Students should enter PCHS through the doors located by the trailers. After breakfast, we will load the buses and travel to the KCI Expo Center.
All graduates are required to meet at the high school and ride the provided transportation to and from the Expo Center. Rehearsal attendance is mandatory in order to participate in the commencement ceremony.
** Graduates will need to bring their cap and gown for the senior walk.
