Whether you teach kindergarten, middle school science, high school welding, or college history, you are teaching students how literacy works in your context. The Summer Institute runs for 3 weeks, meeting Monday-Friday from 8:30-3:00 daily.

Who is Eligible?

Experienced K-college teachers from Modoc, Siskiyou, Lassen, Shasta, Trinity, Tehama, Plumas, Glenn, and Butte counties, plus the Marysville and Yuba City areas

  • Cost: Free! Teachers receive a $750 stipend for participation.
  • Optional Credit: Six units of graduate credit available for purchase
