Thank you all so much for attending Back to School Night. It was so exciting to see so many parents attend and hear about the learning collaboration that happens in the classroom. Thanks so much for being a collaborative part of your scholars education.

Mrs. James and I are so impressed with the quality of instruction from our staff. Our scholars are demonstrating their understanding of the content being taught. We are using the co-teaching model to ensure we meet the needs of our diverse learners. The co-teaching model also allows staff to provide focused instruction to enrichment or reteach our scholars on their instruction level. At UES we believe in RIGOR for all scholars at their personal instructional level. Our scholars are doing well at the Hawks Nest!

On Monday, September 18th, Joe Romano will be at our school to kick-off the PTA FUN RUN Fundraiser. The PTA is always in need of volunteers to make this a great event for our scholars. Please check your scholar's backpacks for the information about the FUN RUN.

Please join the Urbana Elementary School PTA on Friday, October 6, 2023 for our Annual Fun Run and help Tell The UES Story – Superhero Style!

Funds raised will support events this year - student enrichment assemblies, field trips, teacher classroom grants, Strawberry Festival end of year celebration, and more! On Monday September 18 students will enjoy an assembly with The Magic of Joe Romano and will learn more about the Superhero Fun Run!
