NEWS FROM THE HEADS
PAUL BEVIS
Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.
I am sure the classical scholars amongst you will have recognised that quote from Plato... but if not.. no matter, because Wednesday night’s audience would have understood exactly what he meant. The Senior Girls and Boys Spring Concert was an absolute affirmation of our philosophy of keeping the creative and performing arts as an essential part of the life of our community. LEANNE BARLOW
“Take every chance, drop every fear and always reach for the stars!”
Well that term flew by! So much has been happened this term and it is always important to reflect on the many achievements. I asked each teacher to reflect on their highlights of term which you can read below along with some pictures. Read more >>>
SHEENA WILDING
Transition and nursery children have started talking and learning about Easter. They have been cutting out and printing related things as well as starting their Easter baskets, cards, bonnets and enjoying a range of related stories. I feel sure the hunts for eggs will be enormous fun and have a feeling that the Easter Bunny is planning a visit. If it’s anything like last year he left muddy footprints throughout the Transition room but was forgiven when lots of eggs were found in the garden! Read more >>>

ONLINE BOOKING
Summer term activities are open for online registration via the Activities Hub until 5pm on Wednesday 29 March (last day of term).
Any pupil travelling home on the bus must be signed up for an activity, study or pre-prep after school care. Pupils not staying after school should register as “No Activity”, helping us to ensure that our “after-hours” fire lists are correct.
If you have any queries, please email our activities co-ordinator rather than calling the school offices as this will avoid any delay.

There’s no need to be far from a good book this holiday. Ebooks are available for loan at all times via the library database, ‘Access-It’ which can be found on the Library Services page on the Claires Court Hub. Pupils just need their five digit school number to log in and either download a book or read it online. This ensures access to school Library Services is extended beyond the school day and into the school holidays! Most of these ebooks were purchased with the generous support of the Claires Court PTA.
