What we are learning this week:
I can make connections to own experiences, ideas in other texts and the larger community and discuss contextual evidence
I can id topic of informational text
I can plan a first draft by generating ideas for writing through class discussion.
I can dictate or write sentences to tell a story and put the sentences in chronological order.
I can revise drafts by adding details or sentences.
I can blend spoken phonemes to form one-syllable words.
Math - I can model the action of joining for addition
I can model the action of separate for subtraction
I can solve word problems using objects and drawings to find sums up to 10 I can solve problems using objects to find differences within 10. I can explain the strategies used to solve problems.
Social Studies- I can identify examples of technology used in home and school and describe how technology helps accomplish specific tasks and meet people's needs.
I can describe how his or her life might be different without modern technology
Science -I can tell the difference b/w living and non-living things, ask questions about organisms, record and organize data.
