Reflections from Ms. Williams
WBMS Parents and Guardians –
I hope week two of Universal Remote Learning (URL) went well in your household. Although we are all still learning and growing with this new educational format, I continue to see relationship building, technology triumphs, and content learning in our classes and am proud of the perseverance and positivity throughout our community. Some of you have expressed a concern regarding our URL schedule; so, like many other schools in our county, we are conducting a survey to see which schedule our community feels is best while we are in URL. Our staff, students, and parents all have an opportunity to weigh in on three options. Please take a moment to read about the options and complete the survey, which you will find in this newsletter.
I also want to be sure you know all teachers’ lesson plans are accessible to students and parents. Our students can locate them in their TEAMS site for each class, and you can find them on our website. Go to “Universal Remote Learning” and then “Weekly lessons”. If your child is absent for any reason, you both can find what was missed and stay up to date.
Thank you for your continued support. We are truly all in this together - “Unity is strength…when there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved.” – Mattie J. T. Stepanek
Take time to unplug and connect with family and friends this weekend!

Join the WBMS PTA for a Drive Through Webb Way Wednesday Celebration!
Join us for a drive through Webb Way Wednesday celebration! School might look different right now, but we will continue to recognize our amazing students who are still representing the Webb Way. The Webb Way covers our PBIS-Positive Behavior Intervention Strategies and includes the areas of Respect, Citizenship, Responsibility, Perseverance, Integrity and Positivity. Every WBMS student is invited to drive by the front of the school on September 9 between 11:00-1:30 to pick-up a treat and a chance to win a prize from an awesome local business. We look forward to seeing everyone there!!
