The animals in the desert Usually have Adaptations to the desert to survive the heat,For example.
The caral
Survives by moisture from its pray that it feeds on. The Caracal can also Survive along time with out water.
The Meerkat
The dark circles around meerkats' eyes are like sunglasses, being that a meerkat can look almost directly into the sun to look for predators. Meerkats also don't need a lot of water, which is a good thing when you live in a desert. They also dig tunnels under ground to hide from predators.
The Sonoran Toad
Toads can live in the desert where water is sometimes not easily available. The toad spends the dry winters buried under ground. The spring rains "wake" the toad. The toad survives on fat in its body. This is called hibernation.
