Welcome Back, Wildcats!
The 2020-21 School Year is Soon Underway!
The Re-Entry Plan for LT secondary schools has been CHANGED.
Please review the new IN-PERSON HYBRID MODEL for all secondary students in grades 7-12, outlined in a letter from Dr. Smith.
In accordance with State and Marion County guidelines, the MSDLT Board of Education has revised the Re-Entry Plan and will update continuously to inform all parents/families regarding the adjustments and accommodations for the upcoming school year.
MSDLT is still offering students and families VIRTUAL SCHOOL ACCESS for the fall 2020 semester. Please open the links and read carefully before making decisions for your child/ren. Parents are asked to make a decision regarding student school attendance (In-person or Virtual) no later than August 27, 2020.
Families who had previously selected VIRTUAL SCHOOL ACCESS and would like to CHANGE FROM VIRTUAL back to IN-PERSON HYBRID ACCESS must submit the embedded form indicating their updated decision.
The MSDLT Board of Education adopted a REVISED SCHOOL CALENDAR 2020-21 at the board meeting on Monday, July 20th. The first day of school for students has been moved from Monday, August 3, to THURSDAY, AUGUST 13th.
***REMINDER, ALL IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE in response to State, Local and medical officials. Please listen to the Sunday night phone calls from Mr. Crousore, visit the LT Schools website and secure information directly from LT sources.
First Day of School for 2020-2021
THURSDAY, AUGUST 13th is the first day of school for the 2020-2021 school year.
Final plans for the first two days of school will be shared in the upcoming days as adjustments are made to accommodate the new HYBRID RE-ENTRY plan. ***OPENING DAY and current plans are subject to change in response to COVID-19 impacts.
Our school leaders are making adjustments daily to respond to the directives from State and Marion County leaders and those adjustments will be reflected, as necessary for the health and safety of our students, educators and staff throughout Lawrence Township.
Please visit the MSDLT WEBSITE regularly to get up-to-date information from the source, allowing you to be informed to make the best decisions for your student(s) and family.
Student Schedules
More information will be provided to students and families about REQUESTING SCHEDULE CHANGES as we get closer to August 3rd and have accurate student data available.
Schedule changes will be EXTREMELY LIMITED this fall to accommodate social distancing in classes and maintain accurate records for contact tracing.
