Sharks Den - PreK Before and After Care

To meet the needs of our patrons, Shull ELC offers: class only, half day, and full day options to our Pre-Kindergarten students. Coordinator Jennifer Jungeblut and the caring Sharks Den Staff have many years of experience working with children. This amazing team implements a fun and engaging curriculum for full and half day students that align with the learning targets of our Pre-Kindergarten classes. Sharks Den maintains a 1 to 10 teacher/student ratio with 20 students in a class. 2019-2020 Sharks Den hours are 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Full day students can attend a daily maximum of 10 hours. I want your child to be successful so it is vital that your child feels comfortable in a large group setting with the ability to self-regulate due to the loud stimuli that comes from 20 children. Due to the teacher student ratio in Sharks Den, it is important for our pre-kindergarten students to have personal responsibility of their toileting and feeding needs. Space is limited in this program.

Shull is closed in the summer months as we encourage our Pre-Kindergarten students to experience full day summer school in the month of June. The district's Panther Pride program offers summer camp in the month of July and the first part of August for those families that need additional care in the summer months.
