Counselor's Corner
Parents our guidance window is from 4/23-5/27 and we have started meeting with your hobby hawk(s) this week. In 6th grade, we focused on interpersonal skills and personal health. Our Hawks had the opportunity to complete self reflection activities along with create a letter and/or words of wisdom and encouragement to our future 6th grade HOBBY HAWKS.
We will continue with guidance for both 7th and 8th grade Hawks after EOC/STAAR testing.
Hello wonderful Hawks,
My name is Jose Texidor and I’m very excited to be the new Head Counselor at Hobby M.S. I have been in this field for the last 14 years with experience in both elementary and middle schools. I am really looking forward to collaborating and working with all of you. My passion is to help our students emotionally and mentally, so that they can do better academically and behaviorally in the classroom. If you have a chance please stop by the counselor’s office and say hi.
