Important 8th Grade information!
There will be a letter coming home on Monday May 6th with 8th grade students regarding 8th grade activities for the rest of the school year. This letter includes important information regarding the 8th grade field trip, dance, and promotion ceremony.
Next Friday May 10th is the Universal Studios Gradventure Field Trip for 8th grade students. The tickets for this event have already been sold and are sold out. Students must attend school the day of the field trip. We will be leaving at 2:45pm and arriving back to CCMHS at 1:45am. Parents please make sure you are at CCMHS upon arrival of the buses to pick up your child.
The dance will be held May 17th from 6pm-9pm at CCMHS, tickets are $15 and can be purchased online through ACORN or during lunches from May 13th to May 17th.
The promotion ceremony is on May 24th and begins at 8am. Student must be at school by 7:15am to get ready for the ceremony. Parents are welcome to enter the gym at 7:30am. If you would like to check out your child immediately following the promotion ceremony you must fill out the online check out form which will be located on the Class of 2023 page on our school website by Tuesday May 21st. Parents who have not completed the form by May 21st will be required to check their child out through the front office on the day of the ceremony.
Attention 6th Grade Parents!!
6th grade parents: Just a reminder that Tdap shot is required for 7th grade students.
Please take your child to your physician or local Health Department for the necessary immunizations as soon as possible. Please return the required certificate of immunization to the school so we can document it in our records.
Please note that students who have not provided documentation of this required immunization, will not receive their class schedule during registration in August. If the required documents are not received by the first day of school, your child will be excluded from school until proof of the vaccine is provided.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Failure to respond by the above date may result in your child being unable to attend the first day of school next year.
