Good evening STMS Families,
We have officially ended the third quarter of the school year. This upcoming week we will begin the final quarter of the school year. As we begin the final quarter, it is imperative that our students continue to follow school expectations, give their best each day, and work towards achieving academic success. I would also like to encourage our school community to come out and enjoy Disney's Frozen Jr. on Thursday and Friday evening of this week. Our students and teachers have worked extremely hard and our students look forward to showcasing their gifts and talents. As a reminder, students do not have school on Monday, March 13, 2023. Let’s have a great week.

STMS Academic Challenge Team Competed in "The Festival" (OEC Regional Tournament)
Last Friday the STMS academic challenge team competed in the Olde English Consortium's Festival in Fort Mill. Our Wildcats lost a close match against Dutchman Creek Middle School with a final score of 13-10. However, they ended the season with a win against Castle Heights Middle School with a final score of 11-10. SHOUT OUT to Banks Shannon for answering a language arts question correctly to secure the win in overtime! Top scorers in the buzzer rounds were Kade McAllister, Banks Shannon, and Jakub Haas.

SPIRIT NIGHT: Support our school on Thursday, March 16 at Hwy 55 in Newport. 15% of proceeds from 5pm to 8pm will be given back to STMS!
Super Connections has a new look! Our next Super Connections is at the end of this month, March 23. Please encourage your parents and community members to come. The event is at Sullivan Middle School. It will be held from 6-7. Anyone interested in attending can RSVP or submit a question:

The Instructional Technology Center at Winthrop University will be offering three summer camps this year. The cost for each camp is $125.
