Daily Announcements, Thursday, December 17th, B Day for Group 2
7th and 8th grade boys, basketball will begin as soon as we start school after the holiday break. You should have received an email requesting you to complete a google document regarding basketball. Virtual academy students are welcome to participate as well.
CBE is participating in a “Coin War” to help fund the Great Plains Food Bank before we leave for break to make up for our usual Fill the Dome competition. Students have TODAY to bring in as many coins (and bills) as they can to fill their team’s jug in the library. The coins that are brought in count as plus (+) for your team, if you put bills in a different advisory’s jug, it will count as negative (-) for that team. The team with the most amount of (+) money brought in will get the opportunity for someone from that advisory class to pie a teacher before we leave for Winter Break.
FCA meeting tomorrow from 8:15 am to 9:00 am. Please email Mr. Rudie for the Zoom code.
This is a reminder for all 8th grade students to check their email and complete the google form to order their t-shirt from South High. The t-shirts are adult men sizes. This is for all 8ttu grades students, which includes Virtual Academy students. The deadline to order is this Friday, December 18th.
Do you enjoy Fishing, would you like to learn more about fishing? The Fargo South Fishing Club is open to 7th through 12th Grade Boys and Girls. Come out and check out the Fargo South Fishing Club on Monday January 4th or January 5th at 7:00pm in the South High commons. Please have your Parents attend this meeting also. Face masks required.
This is the final week for Pop Open A Good Book. SPORTS is the genre being highlighted this week. A sport is the critical element in the story, but the story can include problems that arise within that sport or problems that athletes face in general. Come to the library and check out one of the many sports novels available. Pop Open a Good Book ends this Friday. Hopefully, you have enjoyed hearing about all of the genres in the library the past few weeks. Stop in today to find your next best read! Make sure you get your reading logs handed in so you can receive your bag of popcorn and have the chance to add your name to the drawing for prizes. Prizes will be announced next Monday the 21st and Tuesday the 22nd.
Reminder of winter break: No School December 24th through January 3rd. School will resume on Monday, January 4, 2021.
