Budget Requests Due

Your purchase order requests for materials are due TODAY. Many of you have them submitted already, but just a reminder for a some that are still out there.

Biometric Screening

Please remember to sign yourself and your spouse up on the WPS portal The dates of the screenings are May 8, 9, and 10th. These are quick, and help us work together on keeping health care premium costs much lower. You will get information that day on some of the results. Please refer to the emails from Bonnie Detert and Maria Putzer when looking for access. It is straightforward, and does not take a lot of time to sign up.

Early Release

Melanie Cowling sent out an email to all, and here is another reminder. The plans for Early Release have changed. It will now be a "buffet style" or your own choice on which District Initiative to work on. With dates coming up soon in OASYS as well as assessments, let me know if you need any assistance.

We welcome April Clark to the ELC staff this week. April is an educational assistant who is here to support a new student that recently entered the District. She will be with us throughout the rest of the year, and thanks to all of you for helping her get things set up and for the training that she will get on making visual schedules.

Statewide Tornado Drill

The statewide tornado drill will be on April 24th in the afternoon. At 1:00 there is the watch posted, and the warning will come then at about 1:45. Procedures should be reviewed with your students so they know what to do that day.

Special Thanks Go to:

One never knows what will happen on a Monday....however....At about 2:15 water started gushing out of our boys urinal this past Monday. Within 2-3 minutes, it was moving up towards Mrs. Milanowski's kindergarten classroom, the office , and lunchroom. Students carefully stepped through, no one slipped on their way out to recess. Our Squeegie crew went straight to work with the Shop Vacs, mops, and Squeegies! This week we extend thank yous to Lori Dobbs, Cindy Weston, Kim Sales, Mary Schulz, Dave Mand, and Rick Kreiter. The water was pushed out, cleaned up and by the time students came back in at 2:30 from recess, it was all back in order! Great teamwork!

When asked about the age of his baby sister, one of our three year olds this week responded, " I think her is none number!"
