Due: The CTE scholarship application is available all year and applications are processed every month.
This scholarship is for children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen pursuing a post-secondary education at any school listed on the National Center for Education Statistic’s College Navigator website at https://mcsf.scholarshipapps.org/cte/index.cfm. The scholarships are need-based, and scholarships are awarded to every eligible applicant.

AISD/Texas Scholarships
Phi Beta Kappa (PBK) Alumni Association Scholarship for Academic Excellence
Award: (2 to 3) @ $2,000 to $2,500
Due: 3/1
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
• Graduating Austin ISD seniors who will be enrolled in a college or university in the following academic year • Top 10% of your graduating classes.
Recipients are not restricted to any particular college or university or any major or discipline.
Graduating High School Seniors who will be the first generation in their family to attend college
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION:
• Mail completed application form and the following materials in a single packet to the address on the application
• Copy of high school transcript
• Letter of recommendation
• Essay
• List and brief description of academic distinctions, honors and awards you have received during your high school career
• List and brief description of extracurricular activities, work experience, and any community service you have been involved with during your high school career.

Austin Sierra Club Environmental Leadership Scholarship
Award: Maximum (4) @ $1,500 each
Note: Three of the scholarships are for seniors on free or reduced price lunch and one scholarship is open to any senior regardless of family income.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
• Austin ISD graduating seniors
• Plan to attend an accredited college in Fall 2020
• Graduating on Recommended Plan AND passed all parts of End of Course (EOC)
SUBMIT:

• 500-word Essay discussing how you have contributed as a leader or participant to helping the environment and how you plan to use your undergraduate education to continue to improve the quality of the environment. If you have limited experience, you may describe the impact that you hope to have and any challenges you have overcome to achieve your goals.

PDK Prospective Educator Scholarship
Award: $5000 each

The PDK Educational Foundation awards more than 30 scholarships each year to prospective educators who have a connection to PDK by having a family member or teacher who is a PDK member, or through membership in Educators Rising. All scholarships are available under a single application.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be a high school senior intending to major in education who is a good standing member of Educators Rising, a high school senior intending to major in education who is the child or grandchild of a Kappan in good standing, a high school senior intending to major in education who has one of his/her reference letters written by a Kappan in good standing or an undergraduate member of PDK who is enrolled in a college education program.

National Association of Women in Construction - Austin Chapter Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
• Applicant must be currently enrolled in (or have been accepted into) a construction-related program at a school in the United States and must have a least one term remaining in a course of study leading to a certification or degree in a construction related field

Oak Hill Elementary School PTA Scholarship

Applications will not be picked up from the AISD high schools, they must be delivered to Oak Hill Elementary.
Recipients will be invited to attend the May PTA meeting at 6:00 p.m. to receive their scholarship awards.

Shell Oil Company Technical Scholarship & Shell Incentive Fund Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
• Graduating high school seniors
• Plan to enroll full-time in one of the following majors (geology, geophysics, physics, chemical, civil, electrical, geological, geophysical, mechanical or petroleum engineering) at a specified institution
• Be lawfully authorized to work on a full-time basis in the United States without any form of sponsorship
INCENTIVE FUND SCHOLARSHIP ONLY:
• Be a member of an underrepresented minority group: Black (Not of Hispanic Origin), Hispanic/Latino, American Indian or Alaskan Native and must self-identify as such on the application.
Note: Students are only eligible to receive either the Shell Incentive Fund or the Shell Technical Scholarship.
