What is Genetic Modification?

Genetic modification is using any sort of genetic engineering techniques on an animal to modify its' DNA. Genetically modified animals are the source of genetically modified foods.

People worry that modifying animals could cause suffering to the animal. They also worry that a genetically modified animal or anything made from it could be harmful to people's health, which causes an issue in stores and markets.
