Another reminder: I will be holding Homework Help sessions on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 3:25-4:00pm. Just send me an email or call that day, if your child is staying for help! :)
This Week:
READING: We read a story about a boy who goes along with his grandfather to work in the prairie for the day. We discussed conflict and resolution.
MATH: We worked on multiplication and multiplying 2 digit by 2 digit numbers. Our students are doing great!
WRITING: We created a foldable with the the definitions and examples of parts of speech. We watched School House Rocks grammar videos to go along with this project.
SOCIAL STUDIES: We continued working on our map skills and added in where we live in this world.
Next Week!
Reading: We will be using our week to dive into some Scholastic News! We will be switching classes and learning about different topics such as space, "gross-o-logy", and branches of government.
Math: We will be continuing our unit on multiplication! This will include multiplying two digit by two digits and one digit by four digits. The kids are so a superb job so far with this! Check out the video below to see how we are doing this.
Social Studies: We will be finishing our unit on map skills with finding our exact locations and where we are on a map!
