Our students had so much fun supporting the Student Council this week and wearing various holiday outfits. We have experienced lots of sick staff and students and our Berryton community has rallied to ensure students are supported and learning despite many absences. A few items of note:

• December 21 Activities- All students are invited to wear school appropriate pajamas on Wednesday, December 21. We will hold our Holiday Sing in the gymnasium at 2 pm and parties will be at 3. We can't wait to see all of you in building for some holiday cheer!

• Lunch Menu Change on December 21- Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st grade will have pizza while 2nd-6th grade will have a hot sandwich. Fries, Potato wedges and corn will be available for all grades.

• Band/Orchestra Next Week- Band and Orchestra will occur on Tuesday (12/20) only next week.

• Basketball Intramurals- Do you have a student in 5th or 6th grade that enjoys basketball? Basketball Intramurals will begin in January. A link to the sign up form is directly below.

As an elementary principal I enjoy working collaboratively with staff members to support student learning. I am passionate about continuing to learn professionally, and building relationships with staff and students at Berryton Elementary. When I'm not serving at Berryton Elementary I am usually with my husband and two sons. We can be found at sporting events, cheering on Kansas State University, or just enjoying a movie at home.
