The 1920s

By Daniel Soll

Seance the 20s, sports have changed a lot, from who is aloud to play, to how it is played and the safety equipment that is used. In the twenties it was very limited on who all could play for who, blacks had to have there own league (The Negro League), as well as the women, although they did not have a name for there league because technically they could not do it professionally. Because of the lack of knowledge in the field of safety at the time there was not a big push on it because nobody really cared to where heavy safety equipment that slowed you down and limited your real ability on the field.
