Sheldon Update
October 12, 2020
Welcome from Mrs. Tanner
Dear Sheldon Families,
Students have been hard at work as we progress through October. Many classes have been learning about apples and making different yummy treats. I love the way they share with me and I have so enjoyed their homemade applesauce and apple crisp! In the moment learning has been evident and powerful as students observe and learn about the world around them. We have such engaged students in our building who lead the way forward with their own curiousity!
As always, if you have questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to me!
Thank you for the privilege of serving you ~

Car Seats
We have noticed quite a few families that don't have a car seat or have too many people in the car for the number of seat belts. We wanted to provide you some information regarding car seat laws in Kansas and let you know that we have resources and are here to help! We want your children to be safe. If you are in need of a car seat please reach out to your Family Advocate or call 438-4538.
Arrival and Dismissal Procedures
If you are walking up, please remember to follow the path shown on the map below. This is to ensure safety for both walkers and those going through the car line.
Parents DO NOT need to exit their vehicle at any point during the car line. If you need a second to buckle your child in, please pull to the far right side in parking lot or turn right out of the parking lot onto Sena and park along the fenceline to buckle your student. Thank you for your attention to this as it will help to keep our car line running smoothly and quickly!
