How to Compose

This 90 minute live interactive webinar will describe using Internal Family Systems methods to engage the EMDR client in composing an IFS-Informed EMDR Assessment Phase by maintaining an understanding that the target is a part, and dual attention requires Self-Presence. This results in the therapist engaging the Self of the client, which in turn gathers part-specific target elements from the part.

The webinar follows this format: 30 minutes PowerPoint slide lecture with Q & A, 30 minutes live (or video) demo session (or live case consultation), 30 minutes discussion.

The webinar will be presented on Zoom and will be recorded and available for review for 60 days by registered participants [and in case registrants are unable to attend the live presentation]. Only those who attend the live webinar will receive CE's.

The webinar is ninety minutes and approved for 1.5 EMDRIA continuing education credit (EC #17025-30) and IFS-Institute recertification CE.

Does not qualify for consultation hours and is not approved for continuing education other than EMDR/IFS. Qualifies for Syzygy Institute IFS-Informed EMDR recertification CE.

Continuing education credit is only available to those who attend the live program in its entirety and complete a course evaluation. Those participants will receive a certificate within 24 hours.

EMDR Basic Training is required and some initial understanding of the IFS model is strongly suggested.

Each date costs $75.
