November 12 - SLPA Dine to Donate at Panera's at 2516 West Loop 340 - 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

All-School Mass
All School Mass will be on LAST THURSDAYS starting in January (not November) and continue through the rest of the school year.
Our next All School Mass is December 5 and the next one will be January 30.
Reading for Hope
Reading for Hope reading stop date is Friday, November 15, 2019.
Students should bring in their reading donations starting on Monday, November 18, through Thursday, November 21.
The donations will go to St Jude's Children Hospital in memory of Annette Carruth.
Operation Christmas Letter Update
As you know, the Reicher National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society and our National Junior Honor Society are hosting "Operation Christmas Letter" as their service project. The project is moving along. They have all the letters in from Reicher and St Louis is still sending letters! They feel so blessed to have your support.
They will be making survival bracelets from November 8 through November 15. Please reach out to Mrs. Kelly if you would like to help out with the bracelets.
Reicher’s Advisory groups have each adopted an item to bring, but they are happy to accept any of the following items. Please feel free to donate any of the items below toward the Christmas Boxes being sent to our deployed troops! You can bring them to the St. Louis campus or the Reicher campus.
- Deodorant: No aerosol
- Bug Spray with Deet: No aerosol
- Baby Wipes
- Chapstick
- Puzzle Books
- Beef Jerky: no pork
- Ground Coffee
Hunger Game Food For Families Drive
St. Louis Catholic School is participating again this year in the Food for Families Food Drive.
Grades will compete against each other. The winning grade will have a pizza party.
Drive will begin Friday, November 1, and run through Wednesday, November 20.
There will be three pick up days:
- Thursday, November 7
- Wednesday, November 13
- Wednesday, November 20 (by 10:00 a.m.)
Items received after 10:00 a.m. on November 20 will be part of school donation, but not counted in school competition.
Caritas will pick up all food items at the school on Thursday, November 21.
We are counting items this year (NOT by weight). Counts will be recorded by homeroom teacher.
Below is a breakdown of the grouping of grades:
PK 3 and 4 - District 1
Kindergarten - District 2
1st grade - District 3
2nd and 3rd grades - District 4
4th grade - District 5
5th grade - District 6
6th grade - District 7
7th grade - District 8
8th grade - District 9
Please donate non-perishable food products that people need most:
Canned Meats, Tuna, Chili, Stew, Chicken, Canned Vegetables, Sugar, Corn Meal, Pasta, Pasta Sauce, Cereals, Flour, Baby Food, Peanut Butter, Dry Beans, Flour, and Rice
NO GLASS CONTAINERS PLEASE
Boxes will be outside classroom doors for collection.

Classes will perform on the following days:
Monday - November 18 - Mr. Hykel
Tuesday - November 19 - Mrs. Duncan
Wednesday - November 20 - Mrs. Keahey
Thursday, November 21 - Mrs. Morales
An All Star Cast will be selected for the evening play and the all school play. These performances will be:
Thursday - November 21 - All Star Play - 5:30 p.m.
Friday - November 22 - All-Star School Play - 2:00 p.m.
