Halo Highlight: St. Louis Catholic is Working Hard for You!
Today's newsletter is filled with examples of how we have continued to march on, stay OPEN and active for our families and students. You will read about two senior athletes who have signed to compete at the collegiate level, plus find important academic updates regarding the tremendous work that our students and teachers have diligently worked through this past month. You will see examples of lessons and even a sweet surprise from our beloved Class of 2020.
Most importantly, trust that our team is working tirelessly to honor the sacrifice from each family to support St. Louis Catholic High School. Saints are truly MARCHING ON!

COR Expedition 2020 Update
During these uncertain times, we have had many questions about the COR Expedition trip planned for this July. We have been in contact with Wyoming Catholic College and those in charge of the expeditions. As of now, things are continuing as planned.
With that, if you are financial able and your student would like to attend, we ask that he or she please obtain a letter of recommendation from your pastor, minister, or youth director and write a short reflection of 500 words on why they would like to be a part of this life-changing experience. These two requirements are due to Coach Bit Thompson by Friday, May 1.
Travel accommodations will be taken care of once we have all the details for students attending the trip. The cost of the retreat will be around $1,000, which includes the accommodations, transportation, most meals, and all fees related to the activities. You will receive more information as the application process continues and the date approaches. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Bit at ethompson@slchs.org.
Remote Learning in Action
In these videos, freshman Personal Finance students analyze how the stimulus package will help American families as part of National Financial Literacy Month, and AP U.S. History teacher Jason Oertling takes his class on a "Galley Walk of the 1850s" in preparation for the AP exam May 15.
