It is hard to believe that we are in the last month of the school year. Our staff have enjoyed each and every student that they have worked with this past year. The month of May will pass by quickly as well! We look forward to our transition to Summer Camp starting on June 5th, 2023.

May is Teacher Appreciation Month, our teachers are very glad to have the opportunity to work with your children each and every day. Throughout the month, the teachers will be showered with a few special items. Feel free to thank your child's teacher with appreciation!

Muffins with Mom will be on Friday, May 12th at drop off. Enjoy a few minutes to sit with your child and have a quick breakfast at the Community Center and the elementary sites as well.

A reminder that May 5th will be an Early Dismissal. GEARS will be closed on May 29th in observance of Memorial Day. The last day of school is May 31st, which is also an Early Dismissal. Please note that we will be prorating the tuition fees for the week of May 29th. The Preschool and Kindergarten fees will be $155.00 and the B/A fees will be $97.85.

June 1st and 2nd are prep days for Summer Camp, GEARS is closed to children. We are looking forward to working with your children during Summer Camp. First day of camp is Monday, June 5th. There will be information, reminders and a summer calendar sent to all Camp Parents before the start of camp.

A BIG REMINDER TO THOSE FAMILIES WHO WERE CONTACTED ABOUT NEEDED UPDATED CHILD HEALTH ASSESSMENTS! PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL, ADMIN EMAILED DATES DUE AT THE BEGINNING OF APRIL TO THOSE WHO ARE COMING DUE. THANK YOU.

For those families who are not joining us for the Summer, have a wonderful summer and we will see most of you on August 28th.

Since the weather is getting warmer, please apply sunscreen on your child. We go outside every afternoon to enjoy gross motor play and to breath in fresh air. If you would like to label a bottle or can of sunscreen to keep at the sites you are welcome to do so. Per DHS regulations, sunscreen must be kept "Out of Reach of Children", we will store it in a high cabinet.
