FastBridge
Lundahl students will be taking Fastbridge assessments at least 3 times this year. Our first screeners will be taking place on Wednesday, September 13 and Thursday, September 14. Here are some tips to help your child be successful with showing their full understanding of the content being assessed:
Ensure your child charges their Chromebook the night before testing
Get a healthy and filling meal for dinner the night before and breakfast and lunch the day of testing
Turn off technology early and get a good night’s sleep
Remind your child to do their best so we can best support their learning and meet their needs
School Picture Information
Pre-ordered picture packages should arrive in mid to late September and will be sent home with students. If you missed the order window, you may still order using your child's Ticket Code, which will be sent home with your student in mid to late September. Please note that a shipping fee will be added when placing an order after Picture Day with a Ticket Code, and picture packages will be shipped directly to your home. Picture Retakes will be on Wednesday, October 11 at 7:45 am.

- Chips (individual serving bags)

Be Seen and Heard - Erin's Law Presentations
Lundahl Middle School will be presenting the initial presentation for Erin's Law through Be Seen and Heard on September 26th. Please review this letter for more information.
Dogs Not Allowed on Lundahl Property
As our after school events ramp up, we would like to remind you that dogs are not allowed on school property. This includes times such as before and after school pickup/drop-off, after school events (i.e. cross country or track meets), and during school hours. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our students and community safe.
Chromebooks
One of the expectations for our students is to bring their fully charged Chromebook to school each day. If they forget to do so, we have a supply of loaner Chromebooks for students to use for the day. If you drop off your student's Chromebook after the start of the day, it will be delivered to the Tech Office and given to your student when they return the loaner.
Cell Phone Policy
As a reminder, cell phones and all mobile devices, including smart watches, MUST be TURNED OFF and put away in their locker from 7:40am-2:14pm.
If your child needs to contact you, please remind them to come to the office and ask for permission. If they follow this expectation, we will happily let them use the phone. If we find that the students are using their phones without permission, we will enforce our school procedures (see below).
Cell phones and mobile devices can be turned on at the end of the school day (after dismissal bell) and should be used primarily to communicate with parents/friends who are assisting with transportation.
Cell phones and mobile devices may not be used during transition times or between classes.
Consequences of cell phone violations:
First offense: A student using a cell phone or electronic device will be asked to surrender the phone/device to a school staff member who will turn it into the main office. Students will be reminded of the D47 cell phone procedure, receive a written warning, and may pick up the phone/device at the end of the school day.
Second offense: A parent must pick up the student’s cell phone/device from the main office and the student will receive a second written warning.
Third offense: A student must refrain from bringing the cell phone/device to school OR drop off the cell phone/device in the main office at the beginning of the school day. The phone/device can be picked up in the main office at the end of the day. Students will also receive another written warning.

Compere Corner
What an amazing start to the year so far! Our kids have done an amazing job getting started and learning the expectations here at LMS. We hope our families are seeing a smooth transition as well but if not, please review these tips to help make our student’s start to the year a great one.
Parent Night
It was wonderful getting to have so many of our family members visit last week for Parent Night. Be on the lookout in our ROARs next week for the presentations to view if you were unable to attend. If you were able to attend, we would love your feedback! Please complete this short survey to share your thoughts and experiences with us from that night. This feedback will be reviewed after September 17th and used to plan for next year’s event as well as future events coming this year.
Homework Club
On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, LMS hosts a homework club for students. Staff supervise students who might need a place to do work after a club ends until the activity buses leave at 4:10. Please note that this is a study hall environment until students from clubs and activities arrive at 3:30. At that point, it is a busier environment and not ideal to complete homework assignments. No advance sign up is required to attend, and students are not required to stay the entire time if they have made pick up arrangements to leave before 4:00. We encourage parents and students to discuss their after school arrangements in advance.
Activity Buses
The intent in providing these activity buses is to enable more of our students the opportunity to participate in school activities, clubs and sports. Activity buses run on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays throughout the school year. Buses depart from Lundahl on these days at 4:10 PM.
Activity buses are available to any Lundahl student who has a regularly scheduled bus and remains at school until the departure time.
Click here to view our activity bus stop locations. Please note, drop off locations are not always the same as daily bus routes.
As new clubs begin, they will be added to our Clubs & Activities page on our website. We encourage parents and students to also check our Daily Announcements, which are posted on our website each day, to see what clubs are starting up soon.
