Course Information

ELA Unit 2 includes many nonfiction narratives. 4th-grade students will be learning how to write a personal narrative from structure to including main ideas and key details.

Unit 2 Lesson 9 does not need to be submitted to homeroom teachers.

Unit 3 covers real-world equivalent fractions. Including factions that are greater than one, patters (involving multiplication), how equivalent fractions compare and contrast, and make models.

Continue Multiplication Practice

It is vital for our fourth graders to know how to multiply. Division, fractions, perimeter, area, etc. are all built off of multiplication. There are many strategies out there to support your fourth grader in mastering this skill. 4th graders are expected to know multiplication facts between 0-12. This means they know from 0 x 0=0 all the way to 12x12=144.

Spend 20 minutes each school day working on multiplication facts this school year.

Media Release Form

OVCA is focused on providing a safe virtual learning environment. With this in mind, we ask that a legal guardian complete the below survey for each student enrolled with OVCA. The media release form includes two sections: Photograph, Testimonial and Interview Release, and Face to Face Platform (webcam) Usage School-Guardian-Student Compact. You will be given the choice to accept or decline each opportunity.

Together we can help students reach their full potential through personalized learning this year! Thank you for taking the time to complete this form.
