Personal Finance Test Out Students wishing to Test out of Personal Finance Class(must achieve a 90% on EOC to Test-out) need to be registered for the test no later than April 1. They can register in the Flyers Nation Canvas course under General Student Information. LHS Curriculum Night and Scheduling for the 2023-24 School Year Underclassmen and Parents, the scheduling process will begin soon for next school year. All of this kicks off with our annual Curriculum Night at LHS. This event is targeted mostly at current 8th graders. However, all families are welcome to attend and ask questions about the curriculum options at LHS. This is a great opportunity to learn about our many offerings and to find out what is best for your child. See the information below that will be shared with all 8th grade families.

Mentors 4 College Program Do you have a son or daughter going through the college planning process? Are you feeling overwhelmed about college and career planning? Are you worried that you don't know what you should be doing to plan for life after high school? Do you think hearing from other parents and students would be helpful to you? Join us for our February 9 webinar and hear firsthand from a panel of parents, students and mentors who have been through the post high school planning process. The members of the panel will share their experiences, things they learned along the way and answer questions you have.

German Exchange Hosts Needed As we are preparing for the spring German exchange, we are looking for a few additional host families to take in a German exchange student. I was hoping you could include the following announcement in your parent eNote this Sunday so that we can find more host families.

Journalism Electives Interested in joining a Journalism class? We will be holding an information session on Thursday, January 26th during A lunch in room 401 (old). LHS offers FIVE courses which focus on writing, photography, and video making! These hands-on classes are open to all grade levels and provide flexibility, independence, and working collaboratively with others. Military Academy Interest? Do you want to learn about attending a military academy and/or being a military pilot? LHS will be hosting Kirk McDonald as a guest career speaker on Thursday, Jan. 26, during Academic Networking in the Counseling Conference Room. Students must email Ms. Keegan to sign up.

It's almost time for incoming kindergarten students to register for the 2023-24 school year! Elementary schools will be registering students beginning the week of Feb. 6.
It is very important that new families do not begin the registration process before Feb. 6, because the district is moving to a new student information system and will not be using the current SIS Portal for new families.

Summer Camps and Activities Fair
What are your plans this summer? Join us for this free event to plan your child's summer activities with area exhibitors! The PEGS and LEAP parent group are sponsoring the 2023 Summer Camps and Activities Fair from 5-7 p.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 15, in the Lindbergh High School cafeteria. Lindbergh Leader Nominations Open Monday, Jan. 9
Nominations open on Monday, Jan. 9, for the Lindbergh Leader Award, our district’s highest honor recognizing excellence in leadership and service. Any community member may nominate an individual for this distinguished award, and nominations will be accepted until 4 p.m., Jan. 27, 2022.

Student IEP Information Night Jan. 31
The Lindbergh Parent Advisory Council (LPAC) is presenting a series of informational nights to support families of students with an Individual Education Plan. You are invited to attend the second meeting in this series, from 6-7 p.m., Jan. 31, at Lindbergh Central Office, to learn about the Assistive Technology consultation process and to participate in demonstrations of universal tools available to all students who have an IEP. Examples will be provided for low- and high-tech Assistive Technology options that can be used in both the home and school environments.

Shout Outs
District Music Coordinator Linda Huck will be inducted into the Missouri Music Educators Association Hall of Fame at the conference coming up this week. It is an incredible honor to be recognized by this organization.
Congratulations to Hannah Deeter, who has been selected to represent the Midwest Zone in California for the Water Polo Olympic Development Program!
