Kia ora tātou,
It is fabulous to have so many new tamariki in our school. This has meant the opening of another new entrant class, in Room 9. We welcome Mr Bharat Dahya to the teaching role in that space. Mr Dahya is familiar to our tamariki, having taught in many classes this year. He joins Mrs Raue, Mrs Maclean, Miss Smith and Mrs Exton-Dahya in our Kākano Team.
Yesterday our Interschool 10-a-side rugby team had a narrow win over Taitoko. They played very well. We look forward to the semifinals next week.
Coming up we have a Rippa Rugby tournament. We really need your help with this, so, if you can manage a team on the tournament day, please let us know. It will be an amazing day, but one that is not possible without your help.
It is wonderful to see our tamariki excelling out of school as well as in school. Check out Loch Green below, way to go Loch!
Kia pai tō wiki.
Please use the crossings.
Headlice can be a common occurrence in schools.
We have a large supply of headlice shampoo, and combs available to families.
Please feel free to pop into the office and collect the supply you need.
