Staff
Please update your staff iPads to the latest iOS 10.2.1 at your earliest convenience. It is recommended that this be completed during non-school hours whenever possible. It will take some time download and install. As always, if you have any questions please contact your building technician.
Also we will be asking all students to complete this same update. It is a requirement for the testing app that will be needed later this spring.

Orchestra Festival
The Middle School will be hosting the Mid-Level Orchestra Festival again this year, on Monday February 13th.
Last year there were 12 orchestras here throughout the day. We have 14 orchestras performing this year! I received the schedule this morning - we will have students here from about 8:00 a.m. until 5:15 p.m. Each group has a warm-up time in the orchestra room, a judged performance in the auditorium, a session with a clinician in the band room, and two times watching other groups perform. We provide each orchestra with a homeroom space to leave coats and instrument cases.
Our 8th grade orchestra will be performing in the afternoon. Many of the 7th grade orchestra students will also be working as student guides throughout the day, leading a visiting orchestra to their venues and providing any assistance they may need. All of our music students will have the opportunity to watch some of the sessions.
I will be providing more information as I get it organized throughout the week. Thank you all for your help and encouragement for the arts! This is a wonderful opportunity for our students!

Updating Grades
Tenured Staff Evaluations - 2nd notice.
Mr. Sesker has asked all building Principals to observe and evaluate five tenured staff members. This request was made last past couple of years as well. So I am looking for anyone that would like to participate in the evaluation.
Staff will need to fill out a brief pre-observation form and then complete a post-observation form after the observation takes place. Staff members may select the date and time the observation takes place.
Please let me know if you are willing and able to get involved. Observations can take place at any time between now and May 1st.
