LOVE TO SHOP ONLINE? MAGAZINE SALES IS MORE THAN JUST MAGAZINES!

Before we start promoting magazine sales to the students, we thought we would give you a sneak peek to the online catalog.

For those new to McKinley, magazine sales is McKinley's largest fundraiser. Funds raised will be used towards class trips at the end of the year. Even though we call it "magazine sales", the company we go through, Great American, sells much more than just magazines.

Take a moment and browse through their online catalog. Here's what to do:

Go to www.gastore.com (or CLICK HERE)

Click on "I'm Ready to Shop"

Enter the School ID number: 1426865; click on Next

If you want to just browse, click on "Skip this Step." If you are ready to purchase, type in your student's name. If you want your student to receive credit, you MUST type in his/her name.

After you click on "skip this step" or type in your student's name, it will bring you to a screen with all kinds of shopping options.

Remember, you can shop throughout the school year.

LEARNING LAB - STARTS SEPTEMBER 10 - IMC

SAVE HY-VEE RECEIPTS FOR MCKINLEY

Recently Hy-Vee presented award checks to all schools participating in the Cash 4 Students fundraising program. McKinley's check was for 1409.89! A huge thank you for all the students, families, and staff that turned in their Hy-Vee receipts. McKinley will continue in the program so keep saving your receipts! We will accept receipts from April 1, 2018 until March 31 of 2019. Feel free to drop off receipts this summer to the main office. For more details, please see the flyer below. Encourage family members, friends, and your co-workers to save receipts for McKinley, too! Thanks for your support.

How is the Money Spent?

Money from the Hy-Vee Cash 4 Student program is used towards purchasing items for the bear paw store. For those new to McKinley, we believe in acknowledging students for exemplifying the BEAR way. Our positive acknowledgement system centers on the use of BEAR paws. Students can use BEAR paws for various incentives including pizza parties on Friday’s as well as purchasing items at the BEAR paw store.
