A Note from Mrs. Goldsworthy
We are excited to share information about the Oklahoma Parental Choice Tax Credit Act. This refundable tax credit provides private school tuition based on income.
The reimbursement ranges from $5,000-$7,500 per student. Priority will be given to families with household incomes under $150,000. The window to apply is fast approaching, and the program will operate on a first come, first served basis. We highly encourage all St. Eugene families to apply on the first day the portal opens.
The amount of tuition credit to the parents by the State of Oklahoma will be based on what your family has paid in tuition. In order to qualify, parents must file an Oklahoma Tax Return using a social security number or an ITIN number. We will prepare the affidavit with tuition costs for you to submit as well.
Please plan on attending one of our information sessions in the Ross Hall on the following dates:
Monday, October 23rd at 6:30pm
Wednesday, October 25th at 8:15am
Sunday, October 29th at 4pm
Look for more information in upcoming weeks on how we can assist you when the application process begins in November.
Further information can also be found on the Oklahoma Tax Commission website by following this link: https://oklahoma.gov/tax/helpcenter/income-tax.html#HB1934-GEN
Order Uniform Sweatshirts for Cooler Weather!
Cooler weather is FINALLY making its way into Oklahoma, which means long sleeves are in order! As a reminder, students may only wear uniform items in the school building, which means no hoodies, Nike sweatshirts, etc. We are taking orders for Flynn O'Hara UNIFORM sweatshirts. These are the navy sweatshirts with the screen printed school logo in the corner. They may be worn at any time EXCEPT during school mass (only plain or embroidered fleeces/sweaters may be worn at mass - see dress code).
Place orders by TODAY, THURSDAY 10/12 through our sweatshirt order form to be billed through FACTS (school families only). Sweatshirts will be sent home with the youngest child when they are ready. Youth sizes - $20 each / Adult sizes - $24 each.
SALT Christmas Fundraiser
The Catholic School of St. Eugene is selling Christmas poinsettias and wreaths to help raise money for our school service program, SALT. These flowers and wreaths are just gorgeous! Please reach out to family and friends who may want to place orders through you/your student. Place orders online at bit.ly/salt23.
All orders and payment are due to the school office by October 23rd. Many families collect payment from their friends and family via Venmo or Cashapp, then place a single bulk order and write one check out to the school. Poinsettias and wreaths will be available for pick up at church late November/early December. We will contact customers with the exact location and time. If you have questions, please contact Colleen de Keratry: email@example.com

$5 Free Dress Fridays!
$5 Free Dress Fridays start later this month to help fund Safety Improvements at our school. Students in grades K-8 may opt to participate in a $5 Free Dress Day at school on certain days by paying $5 per student per Free Dress Day. Send cash or checks to school in a marked envelope to your child's homeroom teacher by the designated day for each day your student participates (or pay for all days in advance). Please send money with each sibling to make it easier on teachers as they collect and mark down who has paid. Free Dress guidelines still apply. Those who do not wish to participate should wear their normal uniform. We are also happy to accept additional donations for our Safety fund!
