Principal Remarks
I had 286 views last week!! Wow!
I had great meetings recently with the principal's leadership council, the leadership team and PAC concerning the restrooms. Starting on Monday, we will reopen the restrooms that have been locked. Our students had some great ideas and have agreed to help us by reporting issues as soon as they see them. They also suggested that staff members that have hallway duty near a restroom pop in during passing periods. This is a great idea and one that the leadership supported. If all of us work together to sweep through restrooms as a part of our day, popping in during passing periods, walking through on the way to lunch, then we can work together to keep them clean. Please report any vandalism or cleanliness issues immediately. Remember that if a student reports it, please keep the student with you as you come to the office so we can question him or her. We worked together as a team last week to find the young man who wrote on the wall, and we will continue to reclaim our school as we move forward. Thank you for your help and support.
We have to continue to keep procedures tight. Avoid passes in the hallway unless it is an emergency. Always write passes. You know the procedures. We can not loosen up now.
Enjoy your 3 day weekend!! I hope you get some rest and relaxation.
- Congratulations to Adam Pearish from Technology who is the You Make a Difference award winner for January!!
