Lowell School P.E. Newsletter

February/March, 2023

Hello Lowell Students, Parents and Guardians:

In the Month of February/March, the K-5 students were extremely active in P.E. class.

The K-2 students played the Elmer, Squiggy, Pip game, and Heart tag game working in groups of 3 supporting and encouraging each other while moving quickly around a circle. In addition, they started a beginner floor hockey unit practicing dribbling, passing and shooting. Also, they danced a jig with Mrs. Breen, played a Pot of Gold coin game and did some fun stations.

Also, at the end of the newsletter is a Watertown Elite Field Hockey application for any girls that are interested in attending the camp. Ms. Donahue and her coaching staff will be coaching the camp.

You may recognize 3 former Lowell students who played for the Grade 6 Basketball Traveling team. Callie Chaisson, Angie Calleva and Mackenzie Highland were coached by Coach Temptesta (Cunniff P.E. Teacher). They had a great season!
