Roadrunner Staff Spotlight
This is Heidi Park's first year teaching in the Irvine Unified School District, and she is thrilled to be part of the Roadrunner team! Although it is her first year as a teacher here, she has been working in the district as a substitute teacher, an instructional assistant, and a teacher candidate. She attended California State University of Fullerton for her Masters and Teaching Credential in multiple subjects as well as a single-subject credential in science.
Heidi feels very fortunate to have grown up in Southern California, living so close to the ocean and mountains--she tries to take advantage of both! She loves to soak in the sun and read on the warm beaches, and she likes to take scenic hikes with her furry friend, Woody.
When she is not at the beach or hiking, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, eating good food, or curled up at home with a good book. She has a sweet tooth and can always find an excuse for a sweet treat or pastry!
