It's All About Growth
Fredonia Elementary
Why I do what I do!
I didn't grow up wanting to be a teacher. I didn't know what I wanted to do. I just knew I want to change the lives of children who grew up like I did. Those kids who are considered at-risk-poor, in a single parent home, who's biggest problem isn't what am I going to wear but will the lights be on when I get home. I was that kid, however, I was taught at an early age that getting a good education would change my life. I fell in love with learning and I knew if I could get children to fall in love with learning, I could change their lives as well. My life's journey brought me to the field of education. My love of learning and helping others fall in love with learning, keeps me here.

Student Growth
At Fredonia Elementary, we teach our students that growth matters. Students are a part of the data process by using student portfolios and personal goal to track data in reading and math. Click on the link to hear our students sing our growth song. https://youtu.be/OAPbMDntr3I
