We Are Learning & Having Fun in K-1
Winter Holidays & The Gingerbread Boy
What We Are Learning....
This week we learned the new letters k & v. K's are tough for everyone, but if we keep practicing we will master our "kicks". In Math, we are learning how to write our own number sentences. We are really enjoying using math words. We are SUPER KINDERS!! On Friday, Mrs. Glassman came in and read, "Have You Filled a Bucket Today?". This story explains how everyone walks around with an imaginary bucket, and it is up to us to either fill them, or dip them. Ask your child about it! We also learned more about Hanukkah and made Hanukkah Hands, which represent a menorah. We hope all of our friends who celebrate Hanukkah had a nice holiday.
The kids are really enjoying sharing their Family Holiday Traditions. Please send back the "Holiday Show & Tell" if you have not done so already. Please let us know if you need another copy.
Great job as star of the week, Khloe! Thank you Mrs. Klatman for coming in to read to us!
