CCA DOES NOT DO COVID TESTING

Please note that CCA does NOT do any COVID testing at school. The district has had several calls this week asking if we do testing in our schools and we do not. Please call the district or your child(ren)s school if you receive information about your child testing positive for COVID at school.

PARENT EMAIL FROM SECURELY

Securely will be sending emails to parents regarding access controls to your student's website filtering and parental controls. This information will come directly from Securely.

BigBlueButton: A NOTE FOR PARENTS

Some of our teachers are beginning to use a new software platform for PLP meetings called BigBlueButton. If your student has already used the Schoology Conferences App in their schoolwork you may be familiar with how the platform looks. If your student's teacher opts to use the platform for your PLP meeting they will send you a link you can use to join the meeting on any computer with a microphone. You can also join the conference by telephone but you will need to reach out to your student's teacher for the correct phone number and access code. You will not need any additional account or sign in information to join the meeting. If you have questions or concerns you can call the tech help line at (319) 545-4496.

VIRTUAL LEARNING SURVEY: SURVEY CLOSES TONIGHT

NEW Virtual Learning Parent Survey If your child(ren) are virtual learning or have had to do temporary virtual learning due to being quarantined, please take a few minutes to complete this survey. Due Thursday, October 8.

Your responses can help us continue to improve and serve our staff, students and families the best way possible.

TRIBUTE TO NOAH HERRING AT THE VARSITY FOOTBALL GAME

Noah Herring will be remembered at halftime of the varsity football game Friday night. Noah died tragically this past spring and with the pandemic, CCA High School was not able to pay respect to Noah and his family they way they would have liked to. There will be a moment of silence to honor Noah and his family.
