mCLASS Math

Kindergarten & 1st Grade
  • mCLASS Math measures are administered one-on-one to a student in any order
  • Teachers record student responses on their iPad
  • Test administration takes 1 minute per measure
  • See graphic below on what measures are tested at each grade level, and time of year.
  • Digital copies of Benchmark Materials are available in the Amplify Toolkit
  • Special Note: The mCLASS Math testing process may require students to complete multiple measures. Teachers can avoid fatiguing students by administering only one or a few measures, per student, per day, until testing is complete. In the meantime, teachers may move on to another student.

Second Grade

  • mCLASS Math measures are administered to the entire classroom/group in any order
  • Teachers will distribute student materials to students, collect them after time expires, and enter graded scores on the mCLASS Website.
  • Test administration takes 2 minute per measure
  • See graphic below on what measures are tested at each grade level, and time of year.
  • Special Note: The mCLASS Math testing process may require students to complete multiple measures. Teachers can avoid fatiguing students by administering only one or a few measures, per student, per day, until testing is complete. In the meantime, teachers may move on to another student.

  • If you received a physical copy of the 2nd Grade Screening and Progress Monitoring Student Materials, there are errors within the Benchmark Materials (digital copies to print are available in the Amplify Toolkit).
