Fort Worth Zoo

Let your student’s imagination run wild with the Fort Worth Zoo! Did you know an African Lion’s roar can be heard up to 5 miles? Partnering with Connect2Texas, our animals can be heard and seen much further away! The Zoo’s mission is based on three principles: Conservation, Education, and Entertainment. We use a combination of live animals and animal biofacts to help your students hone their observation skills and inquiry methods as well as understand important biological concepts. Student will discover some of the world’s most amazing creatures from Africa to Texas, with lessons adapted to the TEKS and National Standards.
