EMPATHY & PROSOCIAL BEHAVIORS IN INFANCY

The purpose of this study is to assess the early development of empathy and helping behaviors in infants. Your infant will watch an interactive puppet show and have the opportunity to help a puppet in need. The study will assess your infant’s preference for others’ helping behaviors and tendency to learn and use helping behaviors with others. Appointments will last 30-45 minutes.

Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK, United States

Caregivers and their 10-month-old infants (+/- 1 month). Infants should be between 9 and 11 months of age at the time of testing.


Participants will recieve $15, to help with travel.
