Joseph Stalin

Early Years:
Joseph Stalin was born into a poor family and was constantly being beaten by his father. His birth name was Josif Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili he changed it to Stalin meaning man of steel.
Rising to power:
Stalin became involved in revolutionary politics and criminal activities. The Bolshevik Party began rising in power until they took control over the control of Lenin which was thrown in exile appointed Stalin as the leader and his reign of tyranny began.
Later Years:
Stalin did not become peaceful with age, he committed more and more atrocities. He even triggered the Korean War. As he grew near the end he became extremely paranoid and eventually died of a stoke on March 5, 1953, at age 74 and was embalmed an out on display in Moscow's Red Square. In 1961 it was removed and was buried near the Kremlin Walls.
