From Principal Norvell's Desk
To this day, one of my all-time favorite quotes is Winston Churchill’s classic, “we make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” How true indeed! Throughout the month of December here at WBS, our character focus will be generosity. Every day, teachers will spend some time intentionally focusing on what it means to be generous. This notion of focusing on character building attributes has been a reoccurring monthly practice this year as part of our pledge to SURF each day. By now, you should know all about what it means to SURF…if not, be sure to ask your son or daughter. I hope they’ll be excited to tell you all about it!
With that Mighty WBS Dolphins, I’ll bid you a very happy December, and Season’s Greetings from the WBS Family to yours. I wish for you rest, peace, joy and plenty of good reading (for you and your child) over the upcoming Holiday Break.
As always, thanks for sharing your children with us. Serving them is an absolute honor!
Sincerely,
Jackson
Help Rebuild Princeville Elementary Library!
All WBS Students will be Participating in the Hour of Code!
During that week, when students visit the Library, they will be participating in an hour of code utilizing either iPads or Laptops. We would love to have some Parent Volunteers to help out, so please consider joining in if you can! You do not need any experience to help, however, if your job requires you to code, we would really love for you to join us! Just sign up here if you are interested.
