Literacy/Reading
This week students have been learning about biographies. We read a story together about Malala Yousafzai and learned all about why she is an influential person. The information we learned from reading was put into a graphic organizer. We will use this graphic organizer to write a summary about Malala's life and accomplishments. Independently, students read and created a graphic organizer for Henry Ford.
Next week, your child will be researching another influential person of their choice. They will either be working on writing a monologue or a poem about this person. These dramatic readings are going to be awesome!
