East Bay AA Hotline
24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week
What is East Bay AA's Hotline?
Central Office operates a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week hotline for individuals needing general information on Alcoholics Anonymous or just a friendly person to talk to.
How Does the Hotline Work?
When a person dials through to Central Office during evenings, weekends and holidays, we have the calls routed to a member's cell phone or home phone. The caller then gets to speak to a fellow alcoholic rather than wait until Central Office reopens.
A hotline volunteer signs up by emailing phonechair@eastbayaa.org and connecting with the Hotline chairperson. You will then be given a general introduction to the service commitment, a user tutorial and off you go!

Is the Hotline for me?
If you're interested in service, have a program that can be shared with others and feel like you'd like to give back to the program that has given to you, we hope you volunteer. AA teleservice is a convenient way of keeping up with the concept of "giving it away" from the comfort of your cell phone.
We hope to hear from you soon!
