Miss Courtney's Classroom
This week...
We have been learning about a hodgepodge of things from baby chicks...to nursery rhymes....and beginning ocean animals. This week we were following your children's lead for what they wanted to learn about. During small groups this week- we did a lot of playdoh, instruments, obstacle courses, block building and time spent outside. We have been spending time with our friends, our teachers, and just truly enjoying these last couple of weeks together. I am getting choked up writing this- your children are wonderful and have come so far. You should all be very proud of them!
Next week, in preparation for StoryBook Land we will be focusing on Nursery Rhymes. We have large props in class that the kiddos will use to act out each rhyme. We will also be spending time outdoors doing water play, obstacle courses and messy sensory play if the weather allows. We will be working on some end of the year projects, and continuing with ocean and beach themes. Please apply sunblock to your children prior to school if the weather forecast is nice!
