Join Us!
- The Upper School Band and Choir Christmas Concert begins at 6:30 pm on Thursday, 12/13, at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
- Come out and join our WCA students and support Forever Young Senior Veterans. They are having a Give Back Night at La Placita on Hughes Road in Madison from 4-9 tomorrow night, Friday, 12/7. Come out and meet your local heroes, have a great meal and help send our DDay vets back to Normandy for the 75th Anniversary of DDay!
Students Applying for Driving Permits:
Casual Week: 12/17 - 12/20
The Junior class officers will be selling wristbands for a casual exam week in the lobby. They will be sold every morning beginning Monday, December 10th, and throughout the week of exams. Individual day passes will be sold for $3 each or a pass for the entire exam week will be sold for $10. Students will be able to wear sweatpants, joggers, and loose fitting pajama pants. Short running shorts, leggings or yoga pants will not be allowed.
December Exam Schedule:
All exam days are half days, all students must be off campus by 11:45 am.
Monday- B and C exams
Tuesday- D and E exams
Wednesday- F and G exams
Thursday- A exam and SLP corrections or makeups
1st exam 8 - 9:30
Break 9:30 - 9:45
2nd exam 9:45 -11:15
Destination Imagination: Volunteers Needed
Choir Reminders:
Dec. 10th - (Middle School Choir/Concert Choir) Students who have volunteered for the catered dinner need to be at Huntsville Botanical Gardens at the Grand Hall at 4:30 pm. They should wear a white top and black bottom and will be finished at 8:30 pm.
Dec. 11th - (Middle School Choir/Concert Choir) Christmas caroling party and white elephant gift exchange at the home of Mrs. Bass from 5:30 pm-9:00 pm. Gifts should be $5 or less or something from home.
Dec. 13th - The Upper School Band and Choir Christmas Concert begins at 6:30 pm at WPC. Call time for students is 5 pm and students should wear full concert attire.
Dec. 14th - WCA Singers Christmas party at the home of Miss Castleberry from 6 pm-10 pm.

Congratulations to our Wildcats!!
Hey Cats, your girl swimmers just WON State! Your Wildcats stunned the 6A-7A swimming world, unseating the Auburn dynasty team with a landslide victory over the nearest challenger.
The stars of the meet were double-gold-winners Rebekah Hamilton and Eboni McCarty, who each broke State 6A-7A Records in both of their events, with McCarty becoming the fastest woman swimmer in Alabama High School history!
Lauren McAdams took 2 bronze medals and set 2 school records in the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Backstroke.
Jewel Krings shattered a school record and took silver in the 100 Breaststroke.
Also scoring points were Larissa Dowling in the 50 Freestyle, and Hannah Krings and Amanda Dowling in the 500 Freestyle.
Powerful Wildcat relays scored gold and shattered 6A-7A State Records:
The 200 Freestyle Relay featured Jewel Krings, Larissa Dowling, McCarty, and Hamilton
The 400 Freestyle Relay featured McAdams, Dowling, McCarty, and Hamilton.
Great job ladies … congratulations on an amazing season!
