Acetic Acid chemical name is C2H4O2. The common name is vinegar. The common use of vinegar is in balsamic vinegar that is in a popular dip in Italy. Also in rice vinegar to make the rice for sushi. It also is used in pomegranate vinegar in Israel for a salad dressing.
Propeties and Other Facts
Acetic Acid is used as coagulant in the manufacture of rubber, various dye stuffs and perfumes, rayon fiber, and is used as a solvent. It makes liquid and crystals colorless.
